Stephen McDermott
Operations Manager

Coming from a mechanical background covering the industrial, commercial and domestic sectors, Stephen has over 20 years’ experience in the industry. In his previous role as a project manager, his main responsibilities were to plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of ongoing projects. Working closely with clients and consultants to ensure that the scope and direction of each project were on schedule and within budget, as well as utilising other departments for support, Stephen has a proven track record in monitoring existing processes and analysing their effectiveness thereby creating strategies to improve productivity and efficiency.

In his role with Medimec, Stephen oversees the daily workings of operations from planning and procurement through to project completion. Working closely with the Medimec Directors and the team of engineers, he plans, manages, and implements schedules to ensure deadlines are met and maintains a high-quality standard of service and delivery ensuring that Medimec surpasses the expectations and needs of its customers and clients.

David Dunne
Technical Services Manager

David has over 32 years’ experience within the medical and industrial gas industry. He has extensive knowledge of installation, testing, commissioning and managing projects from concept to design, installation and right through to handover. He also has a wealth of experience in managing service and maintenance contracts including those for Trinity College Dublin, Astellas Ireland, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda and the Rotunda Hospital.

David has worked in all sectors of the specialist Gas Industry and has an excellent reputation among many end-users across the industry. David also specialises in maintaining “Ultra High Pure” and corrosive gas systems. This along with his Oxy-fuel gas systems inspector accreditation ensures David can offer our clients a fully comprehensive service by a highly skilled engineer.
